- Attached, you will find piston design for 79 mm piston and for compression ratio 11:1 and 12.5:1. I like the 79mm size, the cylinder still have enough material if the block is from a Fuego Turbo, and it give more cc than the 78mm, plus, I can reuse used cylinder from the Fuego by honing it oversize.

- In the past, I purchased a set of piston made by JE, and supposed to be a copy of racing piston of Renault sport. I purchased those set of piston (78mm) from Alpine America located close to my house. The result was very bad, too much loose, bad ratio between the piston skirt height and the piston diameter, and also by too much taper for thermal expansion. The engine cylinder just wear out after few hours running of race track.
