  - FRAUD ALERT! There is a 1972 Europa TC on ebay that has been listed several times by a scam artist. The real owner has been contacted and each time he has had ebay pull the ad, but it keeps coming back. Any ad to sell vin 2315R should be considered bogus until ownership is verified through the lotuseuropa list. NOTE: Effective 3:40PM Eastern US time ebay removed the listing.

  - It appears the listing at ebay item#4609445442 is also fraudulent. UPDATE: The listing was removed 2/1/06.
  - This car was purchased on ebay 1/11/06 for $14,801 and now it's offered for "2900 USD".
  - "Pre-approved bidders or buyers only"
  - Seller feedback score and userid go to an error page at ebay.

    It's been "Reduced for quick sale" from $17,900 to $13,900 OBO.

  - There's been a 1968 Europa on Pistonheads.com for 17 days.
    I sent email to the owner twice asking for the VIN and he has not replied.
    He's asking $20,000 (I assume Canadian) and the car has been stored disassembled since 1981!

  - While I'm on the computer I listen to Absolutely Smooth Jazz on Sky.fm.
  - Added "1969 Motor Sport - Europa to Sicily" article to the Literature section.
  - This is just too weird.
  - Updated the Europa Knowledgebase Database today.
  - Updated the Books section today.
  - Created the movies section html and added it to the left menu.
  - The 1969 Europa from 1/5/06 did not sell when bidding reached $9,000 (with hidden bidder information). It's back on eBay today (again with hidden bidder information) with a "Buy It Now" price of $11,500. This car was bought on ebay 6/05 for $6,900.00.

January 15
  - Europa Knowledgebase V3.0 (Beta 1) is now available for testing.
  - I'm adding a movies section at http://lotus-europa.com/movies.
    I'll make it pretty once it is better populated.
    Any Europa movies are welcome (barring copyright problems).
    If they are very large, send me a link or contact me for ftp instructions.
