TRACK DAY AT THUNDERHILL FOR $145

The Golden Gate Lotus Club is staging it's next track event at Thunderhill
Raceway on Wednesday March 30. You do not need to own a Lotus to attend this
event. We run our events totally non-profit and you will not find a better
price for a full day on the track. The early bird price is $145 for GGLC
members and $160 for non-members if you sign up by march 16. Anyone can join
the GGLC for $25.  After March 16, the price goes up to $165 for members,
and $180 for non-members. Additional drivers sharing a car are only $50.

We will be using a new automated payment system that only accepts credit
cards.  Go to www.gglotus.org to enter.  If you really like using checks and
paper, then you can mail your money, name, contact info,  car info, group
preference, etc to Trackday, 1543 Plymouth Street, Mountain View, CA
94043.  IF YOU ENTER BY MAIL YOU MUST ADD $10 TO THE FEES SHOWN ABOVE.

All participants must join the information mailing list at
trackeventsinfo-subscribe@yahoogroups.com   All information will be relayed
through this mail group.  If you have questions, you can email them to
events@gglotus.org

We will be running the same format as our past events with 2 groups. Group A
will have open passing, and group B will have restricted passing. All
drivers with more than 5 track days experience will be allowed to go out in
both groups for no extra charge if they like. It is essential that everyone
observes the passing rules of the group that is on-track. Details of the
passing rules are available at

THESE RULES BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE TRACK.

Some instructors will be available to help inexperienced drivers. Although
instruction will be offered, it''s  on an informal basis and up to the
individual drivers to request assistance. This event is not a driving
school.  First timers will be required to drive the first session with an
instructor or experienced driver in the passenger seat.
Open top cars must have a roll bar. Factory installed roll bars are OK. Open
wheeled cars will be allowed.

We are running a "self tech" inspection where you, the driver, are solely
responsible for the safety of your car.
