S1A - I unscrewed the idiot light sender from the block and it has the same threads as the oil pressure sender. Screws into the oil pressure sender hole and the oil pressure sender screws into the idiot light hole. The idiot light sender is marked "M14x1,5" which tells me that my oil pressure sender is also metric and it's M14x1.5. To fit into the M18x1.5 hole in the block the oil pressure sender has an M18x1.5 male to M14x1.5 female adaptor. To use an oil pressure sender like the VDO at
summitracing.com
I would need an M18x1.5 male to 1/8"-27 NPT female adaptor to screw it directly into the block or an M14x1.5 male to 1/8"-27 NPT female adaptor to screw it into the existing adaptor.
